Red House Beer and Wine in Renton, WA

Since moving to Newcastle in September 2011, we have been trying out new restaurants in our hood.  A majority of them have been in Renton and are either bars or burger joints.  We stumbled upon a great restaurant in downtown Renton called Red House Beer and Wine: http://www.redhousebeerandwine.com/.  The restaurant opened 6 years ago in an old 1920's boarding house for coal miners and railroad workers. They have tapas, entrees, and hundreds of different beers and wines.

Here are the tapas we shared:

- Serrano Ham & Manchego Cheese, Olive Oil & Black Pepper on Grilled Rustic Bread $8
- Shrimp Risotto Croquettes With Romesco Sauce & Garlic-Caper Aioli $9 (this was my fav)
- Steamed Clams White Wine, Garlic, Scallions, Butter & Lemon $12 Add Pomme Frites $4

We did not try this, but they have rabbit on their menu:

Braised Rabbit - Bone-in Leg braised in a rich Red Wine Sauce with Bacon, Carrots, Mushrooms & Grilled Polenta $21
